Our mission
Cactuce is determined to make a difference.
Africa significantly trails behind other world regions in digital development, which presents numerous challenges. By comparison, in 2022, the OSI index in Africa, measured by the United Nations to assess the advancement of digital services, stands at 0.33. In contrast, in regions like Europe, Brazil, the United States, and China, the index exceeds 0.75. While many government agencies recognize this challenge and have commenced digital development initiatives, they encounter substantial obstacles in becoming digitalized. These include the exorbitant costs of outsourcing to international firms and a shortage of local expertise.
With the mission to provide international quality digitization services at affordable prices to African government agencies, Cactuce aims to enhance accessibility, reduce processing times, lower corruption, and strengthen local skills. By significantly investing in the training of local staff, Cactuce will enable African agencies to have access to a qualified and local workforce. In summary, Cactuce's core mission is to be a trusted partner for African government agencies on their path to the digital transformation of public administrations.
